Travel Grant 2004-2005

 

 

Eligibility:

The competition is open only 1) to graduate students, adjunct faculty, or independent scholars,  2) who are currently members of the Association, and 3) who are not past recipients of the grant.

 

Funds and Conditions of Use:

We offer a subsidy of up to $300 to present a paper at a conference or to travel for research.  Either must have taken place, or will take place, between  1 September 2004 and 1 September 2005 (that is, this current academic year and this coming summer).

 

How to Apply:

Please apply to the Secretary at the address below. Include 1) your CV,  2) a statement of the purpose for the travel (including name of conference and paper title, or research proposal), and 3) a disclosure of any other funding for which you have applied or plan to apply.

 

Applications are due by March 1, 2004. The recipient will be chosen by April 1, and announced at the DVMA business meeting on April 17, 2004 at Temple University.

 

The Secretary will also be happy to answer any questions about the grant or eligibility for the grant.
