The study of stochastic nonlinear systems
is currently an emerging area of research. In particular, the
interplay between noise and nonlinearity in dynamical systems
engenders novel phenomena such as stochastic resonance that are
of importance from both the theoretical and applied points of
view. Highlights of current research in this area being pursued
