Looking for Stormwater Professionals!
The Stormwater Infrastructure Committee
(Part of the Water, Wastewater & Stormwater
Council) is looking for new members! Our mission is to provide a
forum for Civil Engineers, Regulators, and other Urban Infrastructure
Professionals to explore the evolving technologies of non-point source
stormwater, stream, and lake pollution treatment, conveyance, controls, and
modeling. During our committee meetings at the latest EWRI conference, we
identified potential task committee projects to include:

Monitoring & Performance protocol for manufactured stormwater treatment
devices

Field verification techniques for BMP’s

Survey of State’s stormwater management criteria (who manages, maintains
etc.)

Stormwater BMP maintenance and
operation
-
How to set up a stormwater utilities
or authorities

Stormwater Research Areas
-
Tracking your BMP's
-
Matching pre vs post Pollution
loadings
-
Credit for BMP Maintenance Practices
Currently we are looking at past
conference proceedings to look for articles for a special ASCE Journal
issue.
