In addition to Coach Wright and the Wildcat Coaching Staff, Villanova
Basketball Camp boasts first-rate camp instructors. The instructors include
current college basketball players, high school coaches, and college coaches
with previous camp experience. All counselors undergo a thorough background
check.

Ed Pinckney

Ed Pinckney, the Most Valuable Player in Villanova's 66-64 victory over Georgetown in the 1985 NCAA championship game, is returning to his alma mater.
Pinckney returns to the Main Line after a long career in the National Basketball Association. A No. 1 draft choice of the Phoenix Suns in 1985, Pinckney spent 12 years in the league as a player. Following his retirement in 1997, Pinckney joined the Heat as a radio and television analyst. This past season he also was named head of the Heat's mentoring program.

Jason Donnelly

Jason Donnelly comes to Villanova from Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, Va., where he served as an assistant coach from 1999-2005, moving into the role of lead assistant coach in 2002. Bishop O'Connell finished No. 1 in the state of Virginia in each of the past three seasons and was also ranked in the national top 25 in each of those campaigns.
Before coming to Bishop O'Connell, Donnelly spent two years as an assistant basketball coach at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. Donnelly brings a portfolio of administrative experience with him as well, having served as a commissioner and coach at the Morgan Wootten Basketball Camps since 1998. |
