Jamie Lee Dain, Director/Advisor/Choreographer

Jamie is the director and advisor for the Villanova Dance Ensemble and Villanova Dance Company. She is a member of the International Teachers of Dance, Inc. and Dance Masters of America, Inc. teacher's organizations. Jaime graduated from St. Joseph's University with a Masters degree in Education and is certified to teach all phases of dance. She currently teaches at McHenry Dance Centre in Havertown, PA, and has been a guest teacher at several conventions throughout PA, NJ, and NY area. Her dance and teaching experience includes: ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and acrobatics. She has earned numerous awards for outstanding choreography and several of her students have gone on to study dance in college and to pursue dance as a procession.

Melissa Vella, choreographer

Melissa Vella is one of the hottest young dancers in the country. You know her best as one of the final four women in the first season of the hit reality show, So You Think You Can Dance? Following her success on the show, she has become a sought after choreographer and master class teacher around the country. Most recently, she has performed as a featured dancer in Toni Braxton's national Libra Tour. She has also served as the choreographer for Jaxum Record Label, performed on "Ellen:, the "Big in '05" awards on VH1, and was a guest on the "TV Guide Channel" and "Good Day L.A." She grew up training at McHenry Dance Center in Havertown, PA. under the direction of Dolores Mc Henry and Jaime Lee Dain, as well as studying at Point Park University for a year.
