- To examine how the original texts of Augustine are
used currently in the curriculum.
- To explore the ways to infuse the existing curriculum
with the writings of and about Augustine.
- To develop proposals for a undergraduate concentration
in Augustinian Studies and an Institute for Augustine Studies.
With the establishment of both the
Institute for Augustine Studies and the
department of Humanities and Augustinian
Traditions, the Office for Mission Effectiveness anticipates that the
topics and responsibilities of this committee will belong to these
jurisdictions.
