The Structural Engineering Teaching and Research Laboratory
(SETRL) opened on Villanova's campus in June 2005. Housed within
the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the facility
provides a unique environment where faculty and students, both
undergraduate and graduate, work together to perform tests on
a variety of full-scale and component size infrastructure elements.
Fundamental to the mission of SETRL is the advancement of scholarship
in structural, materials and transportation engineering within the context of
education and service to the global civil society.
Location
SETRL is located at the East side of campus, with a
convenient access from I476. Directions to our facility can
be found
