Enabling a sustainable future through interdisciplinary research on resilient infrastructure, energy, and the environment.
To accomplish this mission, the Villanova Center for the Advancement of Sustainability in Engineering (VCASE) will:
The Villanova Center for the Advancement of Sustainability in Engineering (VCASE) was launched in Fall 2009 as a center of excellence within the College of Engineering. Faculty and students involved with VCASE support sustainable and resilient engineering goals by performing research in areas that include alternative and renewable energy, biomass resources and conversion technologies, environmental engineering, sustainable infrastructure and materials, and sustainable stormwater management. VCASE faculty researchers also host industry and community outreach activities to foster and enhance a spirit of sustainability.
