The CCIU Migrant Education Program is part of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. It exists to provide supplemental education for children of migratory farm workers, “to ensure that all enrolled migrant students receive educational services to develop their fullest potential so that they become productive and participating members of our society”.

The opportunities that exist through CCIU MEP may be of particular interest to Education majors (especially those interested in ESL), Spanish majors (Chester County), those interested in Asian culture or studying Chinese (Philadelphia), Peace and Justice minors, and anyone interested in learning about the issues of the migrant worker population.
