Drueding Center’s Project Rainbow

Philadelphia, PA  19122

Since 1987, Drueding Center / Project Rainbow has provided housing and support services for homeless women and their dependent children.  Our goal is to empower homeless families to break the cycle of dependency and become productive members of society.  We do this by providing a compassionate, holistic support system including services such as; life skills training, licensed child
care, after school programs, clinical counseling, education and employment services, pediatric medical services, and more.

The volunteer opportunities through Project Rainbow may be of particular interest to Education majors, Human Services majors, Women’s Studies minors, Peace and Justice minors, and anyone interested working with children or learning about homelessness.
