Urban Bridges is very conscious about building a partnership with service-learning college students, providing “the optimum educational experiences - both for the college student and for [the Urban Bridges] participants. All service-learning projects are supervised by an Urban Bridge’s staff member and [are] closely monitored by Program Coordinators. Orientation and training [are] provided prior to placement”. Programs exist to work with youth and adults through literacy, the arts, and technology.

Volunteer opportunities may be of particular interest to Education majors, Human Services majors, Computer Science majors, artists, and actors.
