The VUSP has joined forces with Temple University to create the Temple-Villanova Sustainable Stormwater Initiative (T-VSSI) - a partnership of the two university’s research programs. the Center for Sustainable Communities and the Villanova Urban Stormwater Partnership. This initiative is funded by grants from the William Penn Foundation and PA DEP Growing Greener. The T-VSSI is envisioned as a long-term partnership that will combine the strengths of both research centers creating an interdisciplinary organization to demonstrate best management practices, to conduct research and to conduct a broad outreach program focusing on southeastern Pennsylvania.
