On A Personal Note:  According to Iowa's tourism site, top attractions when visiting the state include "Herbert Hoover Birthplace", "Debuque County Jail", and the "George M. Verity Towboat".  It's no wonder Pat was eager to try out the East Coast, but he's still having trouble adjusting.  Either way, Pat has added a solid tenor voice to the Spires and a relentless sense of humor.  Though we lost him for a semester abroad in London, he's back and ready to go for next semester (though he's more confused than ever now that he's trying to handle English culture along with East Coast and Midwest).
