Mrs. Valerie Nutter-Laurencehas directed the Voices since 1997, and under her passionate direction,
the Voices have risen to new heights. Valerie has brought tremendous enthusiasm
to the Voices and she is greatly appreciated for the hard work and dedication
she has given the organization. In addition to her position at Villanova, Ms.
Nutter presents music education workshops, performs professionally as a
violinist and has been a music educator, both general and choral, in public and
private schools for twenty-one years. She currently holds a position in the
Upper Merion Area School District. A graduate of Chestnut Hill College, Ms.
Nutter continues her studies at Westminster Choir College and Villanova
University.
